SCOTTISH INDEPENDENT DAY SPA IN THE LIMELIGHT AGAIN
Scottish day spa once again shortlisted for professional awards
PURE

Silverburn has once again been short listed as one of the top spas
in the
UK
by the Professional Beauty Awards under the category of “Boutique
Spa of the Year”.
The
Professional Beauty Awards is all about recognizing great talent in
salons and spas whilst showing the industry what excellence is all
about.
The
panel is made up of a mix of spa and salon judges. The awards are
thorough in their judging process which serves to select only the
most deserving winners to ensure the winners are of a high calibre.
PURE
Spa Silverburn opened in December 2007 and is the third salon/spa in
what is becoming one of the largest independent spa groups in
Scotland
. PURE Spa is owned by Becky and Ivan Woodhouse and currently
employs nearly 50 people in
Scotland
.
The
awards take place on 8 March 2010 in
London
. The shortlist is of significant importance to the owner of PURE
due to the competitive industry in which PURE is operating. Becky
Woodhouse commented “To be short listed for such a prestigious
awards gives the staff who are working within the spa great
encouragement to see that the hard work and effort is recognised
within the industry”.
Scottish Spa Group PURE the Only Scottish Representatives in Finals
for 2009 Beauty Oscars
PURE
Spa has made it to the final of the Day Spa/City Spa of the Year
category in the Professional Beauty Awards for 2009. Both PURE
Spa in Ocean Terminal Edinburgh and PURE
Spa in Silverburn Glasgow are the only Scottish Spas to pass the
high standards set by the Professional Beauty Awards judges.
It
will be no surprise therefore to learn that this newly acquired
success follows directly on PURE being the only Scottish finalists
in the British Beauty & Spa Awards for 2008. These
accolades are not given lightly and a rigorous criteria acknowledges
and sets out to reward excellence, innovation and professionalism
within the rapidly flourishing beauty industry.

Scottish Spa Group PURE Short-Listed for 2008 Beauty Oscars
PURE
and PURE
Spa beat off stiff competition to be short-listed
in two categories in the finals of the 2008 British Beauty Awards, the
industry's equivalent to the Oscars.
The
British Beauty Awards, now in their 12th year, are designed to
recognise and reward excellence, innovation and professionalism by
businesses and individuals within the beauty industry.
PURE
Spa Silverburn in Glasgow was short-listed for Day Spa of the
Year
and PURE
Lothian Road
in
Edinburgh
was short-listed for Regional Beauty Salon of the Year.
This is a momentous achievement, especially for PURE Spa Silverburn
which only recently opened in
Glasgow
’s newest and biggest shopping centre.
PURE Spa is owned by Becky Woodhouse, 34, who co-founded the company
five years ago and now employs over 60 staff across three locations,
two in
Edinburgh
and one in
Glasgow
.
Becky commented “I am exceptionally proud of what we have achieved
and to be short-listed for two categories in the Awards is testament
to our ethos to provide a wide range of therapies with the highest
levels of customer service. We are 100% committed to providing a
unique and personal client experience and it is fantastic that this
has been recognised across the beauty industry in the UK, especially
