Scottish Spa Group PURE Short-Listed for 2008 Beauty Oscars
PURE
and PURE
Spa have beaten off stiff competition to be short-listed
in two categories in the finals of the British Beauty Awards, the
industry's equivalent to the Oscars.
The
British Beauty Awards, now in their 12th year, are designed to
recognise and reward excellence, innovation and professionalism by
businesses and individuals within the beauty industry.
PURE
Spa Silverburn in Glasgow has been short-listed for Day Spa of the
Year
and PURE
Lothian Road
in
Edinburgh
has been short-listed for Regional Beauty Salon of the Year.
This is a momentous achievement, especially for PURE Spa Silverburn
which only opened 6 months ago in
Glasgow
’s newest and biggest shopping centre.
PURE Spa is owned by Becky Woodhouse, 33, who co-founded the company
five years ago and now employs over 60 staff across three locations,
two in
Edinburgh
and one in
Glasgow
.
Becky commented “I am exceptionally proud of what we have achieved
and to be short-listed for two categories in the Awards is testament
to our ethos to provide a wide range of therapies with the highest
levels of customer service. We are 100% committed to providing a
unique and personal client experience and it is fantastic that this
has been recognised across the beauty industry in the UK, especially
for Silverburn which only opened a few months ago.”
The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony to be
held in
London
on 7 September 2008.

be one of the five finalists in last year's beauty awards in
