The Place
PURE Spa is currently recruiting an experienced General Manager with previous experience in the health, beauty, leisure or hospitality industry sectors to join our award winning company.
The Job
The General Manager is reponsible for driving and delivering results for their Spa specifically in the areas of, Commercial/Financial, Customer Service, H&S, Quality Control, Business Development and People relating to their area of responsibility.
The General Manager's main aim is to grow the spa’s business. That means getting the best out of the team, keeping them motivated and enthusiastic about hitting targets and introducing new ways of boosting profits. You will need retail and people management experience, plus a commercial mind and a competitive edge.
The main duties are to deliver high quality service to the large and growing clientelle, ensuring that optimum levels of sales and profitability are achieved whilst minimising overheads through effective staff management and control of day to day operations. The General Manager will also develop and performance manage the team of highly qualified and skilled therapists and reception team.
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, the General Manager will direct and control all in-salon operations to achieve sales, profitability targets and client database growth.
A thorough knowledge of retail operations including inventory control, HR Management, database systems, staff training and development, retail systems, merchandising and customer service in a luxury environment is essential. In addition to this you must have proven experience of leading and coaching a team and the ability to monitor and drive team performance.
The Person
As an experienced General Manager you will have the following Experience & Competencies:

Front of House Manager –Edinburgh & Aberdeen
The Place
PURE Spa is currently recruiting experienced Front of House Managers at both our Ocean Terminal and Union Square to be an integral part of Spa and Salon Management Team within the PURE Group. The roles will focus on motivating all Front of House support staff and delivering excellent client experience to all guests using the PURE Client Journey.
The Job
The Front of House Manager is part of the management team and is fully accountable to the Spa Manager for driving and delivering results for their Spa specifically in the areas of, Commercial, Customer Service, H&S, and People relating to their area of responsibility. They will cover Duty Manager shifts and assume full responsibility of the spa in the absence of a senior manager.
They will be responsible for supporting the management Team in all aspects of people management within their Spa from attraction and recruitment to development and succession planning. They will lead by example in ensuring that all clients receive the ultimate client journey experience when they visit their Spa thus ensuring that the best possible opportunities for maximising revenue and profitability have been exploited. They are also responsible for the compliance of all administrative and financial functions within the Spa, such as Model Office, reports, banking and reception.
They will also be the dedicated contact for Health & Safety and take full ownership of ensuring that all staff members receive full training.
As line manager they will also ensure that the reception team, spa assistants and cleaning staff are provided with clear guidelines and effective support through regular coaching, training and 1:1’s which help them develop themselves and improve the customer service and client journey within the spa.

PURE Spa is currently recruiting for experienced Full and Part Time Receptionists to work with the front of house team at PURE Spa Union Square, PURE Spa Silverburn and PURE Lothian Road .
The Job
The Receptionist is a key role in the salon to support the day to day operations and acting as the key contact for all clients visiting or enquiring or booking treatments. The receptionist is expected to handle all booking enquiries, maximise the appointment diary through effective diary management, and maximise opportunities to increase salon sales through up-selling additional treatments, retail or gift vouchers.
The receptionist is expected to have a sound knowledge of the salon management system from client bookings and utilisation to reporting tools and client administration. You will ensure that the diary is managed effectively and using the correct booking parameters set by management as well as ensuring that the correct room resource is used.
You will operate PURE client standards for individual bookings, party bookings, packages and refreshments. You will have an in depth knowledge of treatment timings and prices. You will be team motivated and work towards your own and the overall salon targets each month to improve salon performance.
You will ensure that all client feedback or complaints are handled promptly and in line with company policy to deliver excellent client care at all times. You will support management team through effective admin support and ensuring retail display is at its best at all times and maximising sales opportunities.
You will work with other team members to ensure that the front of house is well organised, and motivate other team members to provide an excellent working environment for everyone, including strict adherence to Hygiene, Health and Safety at all times.
You will be an excellent communicator and feedback any relevant staff or performance issues to management as appropriate.

The Job
